Andrew Mermelstein formed Pinnacle Telecom Group in 1999, to take advantage of a proven track record in telecommunications program management, engineering and technical consulting.

Throughout his career, Andrew has held positions of progressively increasing responsibility involving program/project management, system integration and consulting. He has had full profit-and-loss responsibility for a number of multi-million-dollar engineering programs involving, for example, statewide wireless system implementations, construction of major fiber network, and management of a number of wireless operators' overall RF exposure compliance program. While at Motorola, Andrew developed and implemented a number of procedures and processes that Motorola corporately adopted on a nationwide basis. His overall performance there also earned him charter membership in Motorola's "peak performers" program, as well as placement in Motorola's "National Honor Role". As an officer at Edwards and Kelcey, he progressed through headquarters assignments as manager of the wireless site design organization, manager of the wireless construction team, and lead business development manager for the telecommunications group sector. While there, he led the development and introduction of RF compliance services, and also managed a major fiber construction project for Metromedia Fiber Network. Andrew started his career as a project manager for Grumman Aerospace, working on top-secret aeronautical weapons systems.

Andrew has demonstrated expertise, experience and leadership in the areas of program and project management, construction management, wireless site development, mobile radio system implementation and coverage testing, subscriber terminal installation and operation, contract development and compliance, scheduling and cost estimation, and the development and implementation of quality standards.

Andrew's drive, skills and reputation have focused the Pinnacle Telecom Group on the leading edge of telecommunications engineering and consulting. He carries to every client and project the lessons he learned earlier in his career about Total Customer SatisfactionTM and Six-Sigma QualityTM.

Andrew holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Bridgeport.
