Decision-Point Training Workshops

Management Training to Improve Individual and Team Performance

Are all the members of your staff currently working to their fullest potential? Is there room for significant improvement in individual and team performance?
Are there communication issues? Maybe it’s time for a Decision-Point Workshop -- a two-and-a-half-day, off-premises training session that provides
both classroom and physical challenges, focused on improving interpersonal communications, individual and group decision-making.

On the "classroom" side (which can be customized to address your specific needs), the workshop employs the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). This assessment tool is used to give participants a greater understanding of how they perceive situations, how they communicate, how they make decisions, and how they solve problems individually as well as part of a team. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is a self-reporting, behavioral tool designed to help explain how people take in information, how they organize that information, and how they come to conclusions. Based on analysis of the results, individuals gain a better understanding of how to address problems that may develop in work situations, how they naturally go about solving problems individually and as teams, and how to communicate more effectively throughout the process. For the "physical" side of the workshop, we have teamed with several unique programs -- including racecar or off-road driving experiences, sailing, and white-water rafting.  Venues include the Equinox Hotel in Manchester, VT, and the Skip Barber Driving Experience located at the Lime Rock Park in Lakeville, CT.

The Decision-Point Workshops are led by Warren Kahn, who has more than 20 years of experience in management, leadership, and team development initiatives.
