Project Manager - RF Compliance
Dave Collins is Pinnacle Telecom Group’s lead project manager for RF exposure and compliance work. He manages our field measurement work and crews, and leads our hand-on RF safety training. He also serves as one of our leading expert witnesses on FCC compliance in municipal hearings.
Dave has certified FCC RF compliance via on-site measurements at more than 4,000 antenna sites in more than 40 states around the country. He has also performed software-based RF compliance assessments for over 1,000 sites, and has served as an expert witness in over 250 municipal hearings.
His experience with specialized indoor measurements led to him being called on by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for measurements to assure RF safety for the post-9/11 operations in New York City.
In recent years, Dave has expanded his work to include microwave line-of-sight propagation studies and system planning.
Dave is a graduate of the Bronx High School of Science, and subsequently obtained a bachelor’s degree from the City College of New York.
